We love assisting our Grants Pass and Rogue River plumbing customers in selecting toilets, some of the most important fixtures in your home.  In the old days, toilets were often 3.2 to 3.5 gallons per flush.  Due to water conservation measures, manufacturers dropped that to 1.68 gallons per flush, and in the mid-2000s, it dropped even further down to 1.28 gallons per flush.  For these reasons, we prefer to offer toilets with a 3” flush valve and a slightly larger throat, which seems to give a better flush.  We also have specialty toilets in the event someone in your household is having challenges and finds themselves clogging the toilet or having to use a plunger way too frequently.  We have a toilet with a 4” throat, which is twice the size of the throat of a standard toilet, and another toilet, which is called a pressure assist, that injects air to give the toilet a more forceful flush.  Comfort is also a key factor when considering the installation of a new toilet.  We love comfort height toilets and offer various heights to fit your needs.  Standard toilets used to be 14 ½” from the floor to the rim of the bowl (with the seat in the up position).  Now we offer toilets from 16 ½” or 17” to 17 ¼” to the rim.  All designed to increase your comfort.  For our very petite customers, we can still get shorter toilets at 14 ½ to 15 ½” if you prefer.  Elongated toilets are the standard these days, yet occasionally we still get requests for round bowl toilets, especially if space is an issue.  Bidet seats are also something we can provide and install if you are interested in the features they have to offer.  Whatever your needs, whatever your preference, give us a call, and we can guide you toward selecting the toilet that is just right for you! Give us a call today at 541-476-1974 in Grants Pass or 541-582-2807 in Rogue River for your plumbing needs!
